90 Days

Steve got his 90 Day notice yesterday. That means that his work will officially end on May 2, and then he has one month to try to find a job, etc. in which he is still an Intel employee. On June 2 his Intel employment will end unless he decides to forgo the separation package in order to try to find a job within Intel.

So, we are looking into jobs, and COBRAing insurance, and where we might move and stuff like that. All in all, I think Steve and I are both ready to do this just so our lives won’t be so up in the air, like they have been for the past 2 years. Unfortunately, the job market isn’t so good right now.

Yea, this really couldn't have lined up worse with the job market, could it. Are there any leads out there right now? We are thinking about you.

Wow! This sounds like us last summer... No job, no insurance, baby on the way. Thankfully you had some wise words for us so I know you know what you're doing:)
You're in our prayers. Love you.

Transfer up here! We have a couple in our ward that moved here a year ago from Colorado and worked at the same Intel plant. They were fairly reluctant to leave, but seem pretty happy up here now.

Yes please consider OR. It really is wonderful having the cousins be close. And I think that our boys could really be buddies. The school system is great, esp the music program, which is beefed up compared to most districts. And ask Stephanie privately if you wish, but we don't really bug anyone TOO much, what with my agoraphobia and all. They had Drake babysit for them last night. So sweet. Shows confidence in him.

So much to do in summer, i could go on and on. You could be either skiing or surfing within a two hour drive, any day of the year. There are a lot of cheap summerr classes and camps and stuff. Between the two families our kids tasted about every kind of activity and haad a ball.

So don't stress, just go Northwest! Then maybe some of the rest of you will stop by a few times now and again too.
